DCL’s electric 3-way ball valves with clamp connection style are widely used in water cooling system of wind power field.

Wind farms are generally built in the sea, on the mountain top or the desert. The environments of such places are commonly very tough with strong wind, very high or very low temperature, full of salted or vulcanized air etc.. Moreover, daily inspection of devices is also not possible in such places. So the equipments used in wind farms must be very stable and durable with at least 8-10 year life cycle.

DCL’s electric actuators have passed strictly environmental adaptability tests, such as 500 hours neutral salt spray test, -40℃ and 60℃ start performance test, 200,000 times life cycle tests, vibration tests and EMC performance tests etc.

To avoid leakage after frequently switching, DCL’s 3-way clamp type stainless steel ball valves use gland design with 3 layer sealing ring. The valve with clamp connection can be easily replaced from pipe during maintenance.

With CSA and UL certificate, DCL’s electric valves can also be exported to north America.
