Standard description:

Blades of hand-held blenders shall be completely screened from above and shall not be able to touch a flat surface while rotating.
Compliance is checked by inspection and by applying a cylindrical rod from any position between the vertical and an angle of 45° to the upperside of the blending blade. The rod has a diameter of 8.0 mm ± 0.1 mm and unlimited length.
It shall not be possible to touch the blades with the end of the test rod.

Application:

It is used to test whether the blade of hand-held stirrer is completely concealed from above and flat surface can be touched when the blade is rotating.

Feature:

The test is achieved by applying a cylindrical rod from any position where the angle between the probe and the blade above is 45°to touch the blade. During the test, it shall not be possible to touch the blades with the end of the test rod.
