Application:
It is suitable for the aging test in the oxygen and compressed air to the wire and cable, rubber (plastic, leather) insulation and sheathing, as well as other polymer materials under the action of a predetermined pressure and temperature. IEC Test Equipment
Standard description:
The bomb shall be filled with air, which shall be free from oil and moisture, to a pressure of 0.55 ± 0.02 MPa. The test pieces shall be kept in the bomb at the temperature and for the time specified for the material in the standard for the type of cable.
The bomb shall be filled with commercial oxygen of not less than 97 % purity to a pressure of 2.1 ± 0.07 MPa. The test pieces shall be kept in the bomb at the temperature and for the time specified for the material in the standard for the type of cable.
