General Information:
The Systems manufactured by HeJin use Helium as tracing gas for detecting leaks.
This test allows measuring the defined the leak position on the component/test piece. In this case the Test piece to Be Tested is connected to the helium filling joint. Then the Test piece are pressurised with helium. Tracing gas come out from test piece through leaks and is detected and measured by sniffer connected to Helium Mass Spectrometer. System Description:
The system proposed has a totally automatic cycle with manual load and unload of the Test pieces.
The Test Cycle can be described in the following way:
- Manual connect the test piece to the helium filling joint.
- Pressurization of test pieces with nitrogen.
- Pressure decay to reveal gross leaks;
- Pressure discharge and test pieces evacuation;
- Pressurization of test pieces with helium.
- Manual leak test with sniffer detector.
- Helium recovery from test pieces.
- Manual unload the test piece.
