Working principle:
The Scraper Centrifuge is designed specifically for tuber starch slurry. It feeds suspension evenly into the drum at full speed, enabling rapid solid–liquid separation by centrifugation. Liquid and impurities pass through the filter medium; starch solids form a cake. When the preset cake thickness is reached, feeding stops automatically. The cake is then washed to remove soluble protein, fiber, and other impurities—boosting purity—followed by centrifugal dewatering. Finally, a rotary scraper discharges the dried starch via conveyor. All steps—separation, washing, dewatering, and discharge—occur continuously and stably.
