Each assembly undergoes 100% factory testing to meet IEC 61753-1 standards.

Custom Polarity Configuration
Proper data transmission requires that a link's transmit signal (Tx) at one end matches the corresponding receiver (Rx) at the other end. Polarity defines the signal travel direction to ensure this correspondence is maintained. MPO connectors feature a key on the top side and a white dot indicating Position 1 location. Key orientation is critical for proper polarity.
Three MPO cable types are available:

Custom Connector Options
Important: MPO interfaces on active equipment are male (with pins). To avoid transceiver damage, MPO patch cords should be female (without pins).
Male (with pins) - Mated to female side for adapters, cassettes or panels connection
Male MPO connector with pins for adapter and panel connections
Female (without pins) - Directly connects to transceivers or other male connectors
