Molybdenum rods, plates can be made with machinable threads. Molybdenum rods and other products, including machined parts are widely used as high-temperature furnace components, glass furnace electrodes, electronic tube components and so on. The high-temperature strength and recrystallization temperature of high-temperature molybdenum (doped lanthanum) and molybdenum alloy (TZM, MoRe) are higher than those of pure molybdenum. It is not easy to become brittle after high-temperature application. Molybdenum is a more ideal high-temperature material. Fine grained molybdenum rod (axial grain size greater than 1000 grains / mm2) has better comprehensive properties.
