Short Winder Description

Our wire tensioning winders are designed to tension runs of straining wire. They are typically used on metal or angle iron posts. The green winder is used with our chain-link fencing post system and our Post System for Fencing. Although sufficient winders are supplied with our End Posts, Corner Posts, Two-way Straining Posts, the winders and brackets can also be bought separately.

• Drilled hole: The drilled hole for fixing the winder onto the post is suitable for an M8 bolt.

How To Use The Short Winder ?

The tensioner is a barrel winder. It is bolted onto the post, the line wire is then fed through a hole on the barrel. You then use a spanner to turn the barrel, and as the line wire wraps around the barrel it tensions the wire.

It is not a separate ratchet tool for tensioning the wire, it is a fitting to be fixed onto the post.

Wire tensioner, use good tensile strength steel plate to make, have hot dipped galvanised or powder coated surface treatment. It used in chain link fence, wire fencing, vineyard trellis,barbed wire, euro fence, filed fence and so on, to tie the wire at corner or end post.
