IDENTIFYING PARTS OF A SOAP DISPENSER PUMP
A simple soap dispenser pump is made up of several components that work together to deliver a precise amount of liquid. These components include:
Closure:the part of the pump that fastens to the bottle neck, usually featuring a smooth or ribbed surface
Actuator:this is the top of the pump, also known as the pump head, that is pressed down to dispense the product
Outer gasket:fits inside the closure and is usually made of plastic or rubber, responsible for preventing product leakage
Housing:the main pump assembly that keeps pump components in the right position and sends fluids into the actuator
Dip tube:the visible tube that extends from the housing to the bottom of the container that carries fluids up for dispensing
Interior components:a variety of parts including a spring, ball, piston, and/or stem that helps move the product from the container to the actuator
The working principle of lotion pump:
- First press—When we press the actuator for the first time, the actuator through the connection STEM drive together with SUB- STEM to compress spring, in the process of compression spring, piston outer wall with housing of the inner cavity wall friction, prompting the piston open SUB-STEM discharge hole, Piston slipping go down when moving through the air within the housing has opened up SUB-STEM discharging orifice discharge;
- Press more actuator—the air within the housing all discharge;
- Lead the liquid into pump housing---- Press the actuator through the STEM , SUB - STEM, PTSTON, work together to compress spring after the air discharge within the housing, release the actuator and spring, due to the loss of pressure, go back movement, the piston through friction housing wall motion down, the SUB-STEM of discharging hole close, liquid storage cavity formation in the housing vacuum liquid state, the glass ball go up, will let the liquid in the bottle through a dip tube into housing liquid storage chamber.
- Reserve the liquid—more presses to reserve liquid on the housing,until the liquid storage full.
- Out liquid—press the pump actuator again,the liquid through a discharge hole directly from the mouth when the housing is storage full.
