The waterproof outer layer, made of polyethylene, ensures maximum protection and prevents humidity from reaching the sheets and the surface of the mattress. The intermediate layer consisting of a shape of pure cellulose fluff, 100% PEFC certified, of long fiber conifer, is made with a rhomboidal embossing that guarantees effective drainage and greater distribution of liquids towards the inside, increasing the capacity of absorption. The entire absorbent surface is positioned uniformly and firmly anchored to the external coating so as to make it stable and compact in humidity. The top sheet, the internal layer of the device, in contact with the patient, consists of a T.N.T. (non-woven fabric) of polypropylene fiber, which thanks to its osmotic behavior allows an effective permeability to liquids and at the same time prevents it from rising, significantly reducing the release of humidity.
