The main components are tungsten carbide (WC) and binder cobalt (CO).
The brand name is composed of "YG" (" hard and cobalt "in pinyin) and the average percentage of cobalt content.
For example, YG8, means average WCO =8%, the rest is tungsten-cobalt carbides for tungsten carbide.
B. Tungsten-Titanium-Cobalt cemented carbide
The main components are tungsten carbide, titanium carbide (TiC) and cobalt.
Its grade consists of "YT" (" hard and titanium "in pinyin) and the average content of titanium carbide.
For example, YT15, means average WTi=15%, the rest is tungsten carbide and cobalt content of tungsten titanium cobalt type cemented carbide.
C. tungsten titanium tantalum (niobium) type cemented carbide
The main components are tungsten carbide, titanium carbide, tantalum carbide (or niobium carbide) and cobalt.
This kind of cemented carbide is also called universal cemented carbide or universal cemented carbide.
The brand number consists of "YW" (the first of the Chinese characters "hard" and "wan" in pinyin) plus a serial number, such as YW1.
