Oil Seals/Shaft Seals/Bonding Application Copolymer Precompounds
Description: Fluorocarbon elastic rubber have good low temperature and high temperature resistance properties, it can work well in -20 degree to 250 degree.
Fluorine rubber also have good oil resistance( no.1, no.3,kerosene etc), excellent chemical resistance weather resistance electrical insulating and radio resistance.
It’s a common material for the oil seal/shaft seal.
NBR and FKM are most general materials, let`s see what is the difference for those two materials:
NBR rubber:
NBR advantage: price is cheap oil resistance property is good.
NBR disadvantage: poor performance of weather, ozone resistance, phosphate ester and hydraulic.
NBR working temperature: -40-110 degree
FKM rubber:
23 and 246 are very welcomed because of the higher cost performance.
FKM advantages: excellent oil resistance, heat resistance, weather resistance, ozone resistance and small permeability.
Working temperature: -20 to 250 degree.
FKM metal bonding material: copper, aluminum, iron, stainless steel and electroplating parts etc.
