A bag filter is a device that uses dust as the filter material (filter material for short) and is made inside the bag to collect the dust contained in the gas flowing through the pores of the tissue.
To remove the dusty gas in the filter bag (dust removal cloth bag), you need to suck the dusty gas from the pipe or push it into the filter bag bottle with a fan. After the dust passes through the filter, the clean gas is released from the bag and the discharged box. The filter material and the collected dust have resistance to gas flow. The more dust collected on the filter material, the greater the resistance to air flow. Eventually, the airflow supplied by the fan is reduced to an insufficient demand. Therefore, once the resistance reaches a certain level, measures must be taken to remove the dust in the filter bag, the so-called "cleaning dust". The job of cleaning dust is the dust collector. The removed dust must be removed from the box. Therefore, there are large and small ash funnels under the box for collecting and processing dust.

The main purposes of bag filter work are as follows.
(1) Purify the dispersion medium
For example, if there are solid particles in the feed gas of the catalytic reaction, this will have a serious impact on the performance of the catalyst, and it must be removed before the feed gas enters the reactor.
(2) Recycling of dispersed substances
For example, in order to reduce costs and protect the environment, many gas-related catalytic particles need to be recovered. Another example is the recovery of solid products from air streams in drying and other processes.
(3) Decompose the material components of exhaust gas
Before the waste gas, the solid particles in it are separated and widely used to protect the environment.
(4) Eliminate danger
Certain flammable and explosive dust, such as carbonaceous materials and metal dust, can be dangerous when mixed with air, so these materials must be removed before mixing.
