Product Description:

TNF8SLNO is an SDH board used to receive and transmit 8 channels of STM-4/STM-1 optical signals, or 4 channels of STM-16 optical signals, or 2 channels of STM-16 optical signals plus 4 channels of STM-4/STM-1 optical signals.Through this board, the SLNO converts the received optical signals into electrical signals (O/E conversion) and sends them to the cross-connect side. Meanwhile, electrical signals from the cross-connect side are converted into optical signals (E/O conversion) and transmitted outward.


Functions and Features Description
Basic Functions Receives and transmits 8 channels of STM-4/STM-1 optical signals, or 4 channels of STM-16 optical signals, or 2 channels of STM-16 optical signals plus 4 channels of STM-4/STM-1 optical signals.
Interface Specifications Grey Optical Interfaces

1. STM-1: Supports S-1.1, L-1.1, L-1.2 standard optical interfaces.

2. STM-4: Supports S-4.1, L-4.1, L-4.2 standard optical interfaces.

3. STM-16: Supports S-16.1, L-16.1, L-16.2 standard optical interfaces.


Colored Optical Interfaces

1. STM-1/STM-4/STM-16 ports support CWDM colored optical interfaces with transmission distances of 40 km and 80 km.

2. STM-4/STM-16 ports support DWDM colored optical interfaces with a transmission distance of 120 km.


All optical interface characteristics comply with ITU-T G.957.
