Optional STM-1/STM-4/STM-16 optical modules are available.
When an STM-1 optical module is selected, standard optical interfaces I-1, S-1.1, L-1.1, L-1.2, and Ve-1.2 are supported. The characteristics of the I-1, S-1.1, L-1.1, and L-1.2 optical interfaces comply with ITU-T G.957 recommendations, while the Ve-1.2 optical interface complies with Huawei proprietary standards.
When an STM-4 optical module is selected, standard optical interfaces I-4, S-4.1, L-4.1, L-4.2, and Ve-4.2 are supported. The characteristics of the I-4, S-4.1, L-4.1, and L-4.2 optical interfaces comply with ITU-T G.957 recommendations, while the Ve-4.2 optical interface complies with Huawei proprietary standards.
When an STM-16 optical module is selected, standard optical interfaces I-16, S-16.1, L-16.1, and L-16.2 are supported. The characteristics of the I-16, S-16.1, L-16.1, and L-16.2 optical interfaces comply with ITU-T G.957 recommendations.
CWDM colored optical interfaces are supported, providing a transmission distance of up to 80 km.
The Q5CXLLN also supports DWDM colored optical interfaces with a transmission distance of up to 120 km.
Note: The R1CXLLN does not support CWDM colored optical interfaces.
Service Processing:
When an STM-1 optical module is selected, VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 services are supported.
When an STM-4 optical module is selected, VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 services and VC4-4c concatenation services are supported.
When an STM-16 optical module is selected, VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 services and VC4-4c/VC4-8c/VC4-16c concatenation services are supported.
Functions and Features of the Cross-Connect Unit on the CXLLN Board:
The R1/R2CXLLN supports 15 Gbit/s of VC-4 high-order cross-connection, 5 Gbit/s of VC-3/VC-12 low-order cross-connection, and 10 Gbit/s of access capability.
When installed on a new backplane, the Q5CXLLN supports 60 Gbit/s of VC-4 high-order cross-connection, 20 Gbit/s of VC-3/VC-12 low-order cross-connection, and 17.5 Gbit/s of access capability.
When installed on an old backplane, the Q5CXLLN supports 20 Gbit/s of VC-4 high-order cross-connection, 20 Gbit/s of VC-3/VC-12 low-order cross-connection, and 15 Gbit/s of access capability.
