Usage Instructions

Preparation

Sterilize sampling tube and swab before use
Annotate sample information on sampling tube
Inject appropriate amount of sample solution

Sampling Procedure

Gently insert swab into sampling area
Rotate swab 3-5 times gently
Slowly remove swab from sampling area
Place sample into sampling tube
Break swab at designated point and discard handle
Tighten tube cover to complete sampling

Sampling Methods

Method	Procedure
Nasal Swab	Gently wipe swab head into nasal passages, pause briefly, then slowly withdraw. Use separate swab for each nostril.
Pharyngeal Swabs	Wipe bilateral pharyngeal tonsils and posterior pharyngeal wall with swabs.
Gargle Method	Gargle with 10mL normal saline, rotating in pharynx while making "Oh" sound.
Nasal Lavage	Inject 50mL normal saline into nostrils via pipette while patient makes K tone, then collect expelled saline.
Nasopharyngeal Aspirates	Extract mucus from nasopharynx using collector connected to negative pressure pump.
