Definition:
Refractory brick is referred to as fire brick. Refractory made of refractory clay or other refractory materials. Pale yellow or brown. It is mainly used for building smelting furnaces and can withstand high temperatures of 1,580℃-1,770℃. Also called firebrick. Its refractories is usually above 1750 °C.The main mineral components are corundum and mullite phases.It is a kind of neutral refractory material so that it enjoys excellent resistance to acid and alkali corrosion.
According to the preparation process, it can be divided into fired bricks, non-fired bricks, fused bricks (fused cast bricks), refractory and heat insulation bricks; according to the shape and size, it can be divided into standard bricks, ordinary bricks, special-shaped bricks, etc.
Fireproof Resistant Fire Clay Brick is made from clinker clay by mixing, forming, drying, sintering and matching characterized by good resistance to corrosion and abrasion, good thermal shock resistance, good spelling resistance, high mechanical strength, good volume stability under high temperature.
