The alumina content of more than 48% , mainly composed of corundum mullite and glass phase or light refractory materials.Volume density of 0.4 ~ 1.35g/cm3 . The porosity is 73% ~ 66% ,the compressive strength is 1 ~ 8MPa .Better thermal shock resistance .
Usually mixing high alumina bauxite plus a small amount of clay ,after grinding with gas or foam to form mud casting ,forming 1300 ~ 1500℃ firing. Sometimes can also be used to replace part of industrial alumina bauxite .

Production process:

Corundum Mullite High Strength for Insulating sintered mullite brick includes five parts: preparation of foaming agent, preparation of foam slurry, molding, drying and firing.

(3) Forming.

(4) Dry.
