Stainless steel coiled tubing are bright annealing,which is made by stainless steel strips,the desired sizes are obtained by repeat cold drawing processing,any welded seams are not acceptable in each coil ranging from 0.125 inch to 1 inch OD.(3.2mm to 25.4mm) and a variety of wall thickness.
The stainless steel strip is formed into a tubular cross section and longitudinally seam welded using either the gas tungsten arc(GTAW).The tubing may be welded at a larger OD initially,after which sunk to final size and subsequently heat treated, heat treated tubing is one continuous length of tubing, completely free of any welded seams or joints,each coil tubing is 100% hydrostatic tested.
