316L SS Cold Drawn Seamless Control Line Tubing for oil and gas well

316L grade stainless steel, is the second most common austenitic stainless steel after 304 stainless steel. Its primary alloying constituents after iron, are chromium(between 16–18%), nickel(10–12%) and molybdenum (2–3%), with small (<1%) quantities of silicon, phosphorus & sulfur also present. 316L grade is the low carbon version of 316 stainless steel. When cold worked, 316 can produce high yield and tensile strengths similar to Duplex stainless grades.

316L SS Capillary tube coils are commonly used in chemical and petrochemical industry, pharmaceutical equipment, medical devices,  in marine and subsea applications and architectural applications near the seashore or in urban areas.

We specialize in providing either welded or seamless hydraulic control lines for subsurface applications. Seamless hydraulic control line is available in length to 500 ft (152 m). Lengths greater than 500 ft (152 m) are joined by orbital welding, which also meets ASTM specification A-269.Our seamless control lines are used in SCSSV, Chemical Injection, Advanced Well Completions, and Gauge Applications.

Wall thickness from 0.5mm (0.020”) to 3mm (0.118”)

OD tolerance +/- 0.005” (0.13mm) and +/- 10% wall thickness, other tolerances are available on request

Encapsulated, PVC coated or bare line tubing

Available on wooden or steel drums.

Our uniquely designed, high quality continuous length seamless stainless steel tubing helps to reduce installation time and is more reliable than coupling multiple shorter lengths with welds or mechanical fittings. Continuous length, seamless tubing significantly decreases the opportunity for defect, such as leaks and other long-term failures.
