- Gold trommel screen is usually used in the primary separation stage of placer gold mining to wash and screen gold ore. The upper size is always considered as useless material. The bottom size containing gold is usually processed continuously by centrifugal concentrator or gold tank to upgrade gold ore. Description of the placer gold washing plant.
After the equipment is fully installed, river sand is usually feed into the hopper using an excavator or crane, and then the sand is transported to the trommel screen. As the trommel screen rotates, large sand particles larger than 8 mm are screened out, and small sand particles smaller than 8 mm are transferred to a centrifugal gold concentrator or a vibrating gold sluice (we usually recommend the concentrator because it can achieve high recovery rates of sand various gold particles from 40 mesh to 200 mesh). The concentrator is followed by a gold sluice with a gold blanket to recover the remaining gold in the concentrator.

Gold centrifugal concentrator is suitable for collecting gold ore with mesh size from 200 to 40. It uses gravity centrifugal force to collect gold concentrate from river sand or soil. The recovery rate of free gold particles can be as high as 90%. It is the perfect partner for gold trommel screen plant.
Gold sluice with blanket
Shaking table
After collect the gold concentrate fromo the centrifugal concentrator and gold sluice blanket, the most common way is then put it on the shaking table to further improve the gold grade.
Mercury Amalgamation barrel or small ball mill.
The gold ore concentrate collected from the shaking table will be put in the small ball mill, or we call it mercury amalgamation barrel. Then it can mix with the mercury and form the gold and mercury mixture.
Electric gold melting furnace
After get the mixture of gold and mercury, you can put it in the elctric gold melting furnace and heat it, then you can get the pure gold bar.
