Vertical spiral mill, also known as tower mill or vertical spiral stirring mill, is a high-efficiency ultrafine grinding equipment.
Working Principle
The cylinder is filled with a certain amount of grinding media, the spiral agitator rotates slowly, and the grinding media and materials make a multi-dimensional circulation and rotational motion in the cylinder as a whole. The materials are effectively crushed under the friction, extrusion, shear and impact force generated by the weight pressure of the grinding media and the rotation.
Technical features
- The vertical spiral mill is mainly composed of a transmission part, a frame part, a spiral part, an inspection door, a coarse grading device, a spiral installation tool, a motor, a reducer, etc. It has a simple structure and is easy to maintain.
- The frame part is lined with wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant rubber, and a grid lining or a magnetic lining is installed to protect the frame and extend its service life.
- The installation period is short, and the main installation work can generally be completed in 2 to 4 weeks.
- The overall force of the mill is balanced, the foundation has no additional load, and the foundation design is simple.
- There is no internal impact during operation, and the grinding medium loss is small.
- The vertical spiral mill is divided into two feeding methods: upper feeding and lower feeding, which can be freely selected according to the process conditions.
- It adopts PLC control, has sound and light alarm, fault diagnosis and other functions, and realizes the integration of electromechanical and hydraulic control.
