Cement Vertical Mill
Cement vertical mill is mainly used for grinding cement clinker.In recent years, with the improvement of design and manufacturing technology of vertical mill, and the innovation of grinding process, vertical mill has been successfully applied as cement final grinding equipment in foreign countries.Used in cement industry with annual output of 30, 60, 100, 120, 1.5 million tons and other industries, to meet users' requirements for different output and grinding of different materials.
The working principle of vertical mill
1. Main structure and function
Grinding roller is the main component for grinding materials.There are two pairs of rollers in the mill. Each pair of rollers is mounted on the same shaft and rotates at different speeds.
The grinding disc is fixed on the output shaft of the reducer. The upper part of the grinding disc is the material bed, and the material bed has an annular groove.
PRM vertical mill is mainly composed of separator, grinding roller, grinding disc, pressure device, reducer, motor, shell and other parts.
The separator is an important part to determine the fineness. It is composed of adjustable transmission device, rotor, air guide blade, shell, coarse powder discharging cone, air outlet, etc., which is similar to the working principle of the powder sorting machine.
The pressure device is a part that provides grinding pressure, which is composed of high-pressure oil station, hydraulic cylinder, pull rod, accumulator, etc., and can exert enough pressure on the grinding roller to crush the material.
2, the working principle of air flow of materials through the separator under the action of guide vane and rotor, coarse material from the cone hopper to the mill wheel, fine powder with airflow grinding, collected in the system of the dust collecting device, namely for the product, material in the process of contact with the gas is dry, to achieve the required product water, by adjusting the wind vane of the rotor speed, Angle and the separatorThe product of different fineness can be obtained.
The motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through the reducer, and the hot air enters the mill from the air inlet, and the material falls from the feeding port in the center of the grinding disc.Due to the action of centrifugal force, the material moves to the edge of the grinding disc, and is crushed by the grinding roller when the annular groove on the grinding disc. It continues to move to the edge of the grinding disc until it is taken up by the air flow in the wind, and the large particles fall directly back to the grinding disc for re grinding.
Compared with ball mill, vertical mill has the following characteristics;
The advantages of the above cement vertical mill are obvious compared with the ball mill. In order to more directly explain the characteristics of the vertical MPS mill, the following is an example of an annual output of 100,000 tons of cement and a raw material preparation system to compare the relevant indexes of HRM vertical mill and ball mill.
High grinding efficiency;Large drying capacity;The material size into the mill is large, and the large and medium-sized vertical mill can avoid the secondary crushing;The chemical composition of the product is stable;The granule grading is uniform and the product size is uniform, which is conducive to calcination.The process is simple;Low noise, less dust, clean operating environment;Small metal loss, high utilization rate;Economy of use.
Assume an annual output of 100,000 tons of cement. In order to meet the production needs, the following two schemes may be adopted:
Scheme 1: HRM1300 Vertical Mill Grinding System
Option 2: @2.2 x 6.5 m closed circuit grinding system
The installed capacity of the two schemes is shown in Table 2, and the technical and economic indicators are shown in Table 3.
From the above comparison, it can be seen that the selection of vertical mill annual operating costs will reduce 380,200 yuan, and in improving the technical level and product output, energy saving, improve the operating environment, reduce noise and pollution, enhance the ability to adapt to play an immeasurable long-term benefits.

Our vertical raw mill has various advantages when compared with other similar machines. Detailed information will be given in the following.
1. High grinding efficiency: advanced grinding principles makes it possible to save as much as 20~30% power consumption when compared with the ball mill. With the increasing of moisture content, it can save more and more electricity.
2. Strong drying capacity: it can make use of the hot waste gases from the kiln to do drying, and it is capable of drying and grinding raw materials with moisture content as much as 15%.
3. Small in size, and simple process flow: it has integrated crushing, drying, grinding, separating and conveying into one body.
4. Low noises and little dust: there is no direct contact between the grinding rollers and grinding disc. So metallic impact is avoided and its noises is 20~25 decibels lower when compared with ball mill. Totally closed negative pressure operation has employed by this vertical raw mill, so there is no dust during the operation, which can help to keep the production environment clean.
5. Low wear rate and little metallic pollution: its metal wear is only 5~10g/t.
6. With stable chemical composition and even particle size, its products are quite easy to calcine.
