Tubing swage Wireline Tool String

I. Introduction

Tubing swage is a tool to shape the changed diameter of to guarantee that the downhole device can

pass smoothly or to get through the flavedo-type blocks at the end of tubing.

III. Structural features: 

The top of the tubing swage has external threads (or quick male joint) and fishing neck; the inner diameter

of waist is about equal to that of the deformed oil pipe, so there are air holes or drain holes in the middle,

and the pipe tapers off from the middle to both ends; the bottom also can be processed with threads to connect

with tools.

The whole body of tubing swage is made of alloy steel, and the hardness of the part for shaping reaches

43～45HRC through quenching and tempering.
