8 Inch Wireline Torsion Tester For Torsion Experiment Instrument

1. Introduction

Wireline torsion tester is used for torsion experiment instrument, wire line breakage by torsion test count

when the standards set by the number of turns and wire twist off laps, qualitative judgment test whether

wire can continue to use.

1. Parameters

A wireline torsion tester is designed for the purpose of testing wireline strength.

Usually 8”(Length) wirelines is selected as a specimen. Then, fixed both ends and rotated in the same

direction.

For 0.092” wireline, rotate 25-28 circles, 0.108” with 20-25 circles, 0.125” with 16-18 circles.

If the wireline splits, it verifies good quality.

If the wireline splits before finishing testing, it shows the hardness of wireline is too high or it is corrosive.

If the wireline does not split but presents twisted structure after tesing, it means the wireline is too flexible.

If the wireline shows both twisted structure and straight structure,that means heterogeneous hardness and

flexibility.

Suitable for wireline diameter: 0.092 ", 0.108 ", 0.125"
