I. Introduction: 

A R type pulling tool is an outer pulling tool, which can grasp the shoulder of the outer fishing neck with special fishing claw and move upward to release the claw, and which is divided into three types: RB, RS and RJ.

III. Structural features: 

There are some grooves distributed uniformly on the outer cylinder; the fishing claw is installed on the groove and shrunk under the function of secondary spring and spring seat; the mandrel is fixed with outer cylinder with shear pin to connect with the bottom of the upper contact.

While fishing, the outer fishing neck will enter into the outer cylinder to drive the fishing claw to move up, and then the fishing claw will splay under the function of the slope of outer cylinder and fishing claw; after continuing to move the outer fishing neck up, the fishing claw will reset under the function of secondary spring, and then grasp the out fishing neck immediately; at this moment, the outer cylinder and fishing claw are bearing the strength of the object to be fished at the bottom, and is connecting with the basic tool string on the top with the shear pin installed on the mandrel. When the tool moves upward, the shear pin will be cut off; the mandrel will be pulled up under the function of main spring, and the big step of the mandrel will pull the fishing tool to move up and splay to complete releasing.

1. Before lowering the tool, inspect whether the connection threads of the tool are loose.
