Operation Manual of Hydraulic Stuffing Box

I. Introduction:

Hydraulic Stuffing Box is a surface pressure control equipment using on slickline operation to seal off the wire, and the

sealing of the wire according the rubber seal packing. The BOP plunger of the blowout system is used for the sealing

of the downhole pressure after the wire break.The seal packing are both available with manual and hydraulic control

methods.The stuffing box consist of Sheave staff, body and control hydraulic cylinder.

2．WP:5000PSI；

3．For Max Wireline:0.108″,0.125″；

4．Sheave OD:16″(406.4mm)；

5．Control Type :Manual & Hydraulic；

6．Connection:4-3/4-4ACME·B type Quick Union；

7．Safe Load:25KN

III. remarks:

1．We need change the seal packing and BOP plunger after using.

2．If the bearing is lock or abnormality, we need to check and replace a new one.

3．It should be with the thread protector if not use.

The stuffing box consist of Sheave staff, body and control hydraulic cylinder.
