Flat bottom wire cutters consist of a solid rod with grooves and guide surfaces. It is run into the well in the conventional manner, where the wireline tool is heavily buried by sand, debris, or wire, or without a single cut. Flat-bottomed wire cutters provide a solid cutting surface for sloping-bottomed wire cutters or wire scissors.

The GO Devil Flat Bottomed is composed of a slotted flat bottom solid rod and a baffle. The baffle is connected with the slotted solid rod by screws. When using, remove the baffle, insert the wire into the slot, and then install the baffle. The steel wire cutter goes into the well along the steel wire and assists the inclined bottom steel wire cutter to cut the steel wire. The wire cutter and tool string are then fished out with a catcher.
