Glycerol tristearate GTS also called name Triglyceride, odorless and sweet.Soluble in hot alcohol, chloroform,benzene and carbon disulfide insoluble in water, petroleum ether, ether and cold alcohol.

Melting point: about 58℃.

Application:

1.GTS can be used for PVC,PE lubricants and plastic additives: For EPS resin coating, it has a lubricating effect to prevent raw materials from caking. In the Injection process,The melting and melting strength of the pre-foaming particles can be controlled.In the Injection mold,the cooling time and cycle time can be reduced, and the stripping performance can be improved.

2.GTS has the functions of emulsification,lubrication and hardening,and is used as emulsifier, lubricant, ointment matrix,etc.in pharmaceuticals.It is often used to manufacture creams,ointments,suppositories,lotions,etc.

3. GTS is also food ingredients,which used for produce food, cake etc.

4.GTS has wildly application for cosmetic industry,It is used to manufacture various daily chemical products such as cream, soap, shampoo, waterproof paper, adhesive, etc. It is used for metal polishing and also for the production of adhesives, dentures, polishing agents and waterproof paper.
