Belt Rubber Lagging Pulley

 

For the negative phenomena of ordinary pulley(taking drive pulley for example) such as belt slippage and deviation in the harsh environment applications,the paper proposes a new type of ceramic lagging pulley which vulcanizes left/right-handed rubber layers at both ends of the pulley in consideration of preventing conveyor belt from deviation and selects the reasonable ceramic pieces from the view of bionics,to maximize the traction of pulley and the friction on the contact surface of the pulley.The pulley adopts the herringbone ceramic lagging at the middle part and preserves sewage drainage trench on the entire surface,to increase the traction of the pulley and achieve the self-cleaning function of pulley.

 

The ceramic drum pad has an extremely effective function in humid or dirty environments, where sometimes slippage in the area of the conveyor belt can be observed. The ceramic has excellent water conductivity and the design allows the adhesive materials to be drained along the column. The ceramic inserts significantly increase the adhesion and friction between the drum and the belt and reduce the tension of the belt. The ceramic lagging sheet has an extremely effective function in a humid and dirty environment. It has an excellent water drainage ability and its special design allows the adhesive materials to drain along the columns. The ceramic sets significantly increase the adhesion and friction between the pulleys and the conveyor belts, while it also decreases the tension of the belts. It reduces the slippage and tilt risk, meanwhile, it has extremely high abrasion resistance. The belt tension can be reduced by using a ceramic lagging sheet. The water drainage ability is good and it has a long service life.

 

The driving drum pulley of an ordinary belt conveyor is generally composed of an independent motor, a reducer, and a drum. This type of driving structure has a large bearing range, but the body is heavy and covers a large area. It is not suitable for the narrow space at the top of the coal mixing tank. Therefore, the built-in electric drum can be used. Because the motor and reducer are built into the drum body, it has the characteristics of compact structure, small size, light weight, and neat appearance. It can be used in a small on-site working space, but due to multiple The belt conveyor needs to change direction continuously, can convey different materials separately, and the transportation volume is large, which determines that the drive mechanism of multiple equipment must have sufficient transportation performance and can change directions frequently to meet the needs of on-site production operations;
