The Conical roller is also called the vertical roller or the wing roller. It is mainly connected with the self-aligning bracket. It is a product used in the self-aligning roller. The vertical rollers are installed on both sides of the conveyor belt to prevent the conveyor belt from deviating, that is, the tape runs away. When deflected, one side of the wing roller is squeezed, the vertical roller rotates through the shaft on the rotating mechanism of the moving rod, the shaft drives the pull rod to rotate, and the pull rod pushes the entire roller set to rotate at an angle, so that the tape runs smoothly and reliably, and the centering effect is significant. And the structure is simple.
The influence of the flexibility of the roller on the belt conveyor:
During the operation of the belt conveyor, the flexibility of the roller is very important. If the roller is not flexible and the coefficient of rotation resistance is high, the entire belt conveyor system will have to pay a lot of power and consume a lot of electricity. Sometimes it will cause the tape to tear and the motor to burn out. In severe cases, it can cause a fire. Therefore, the selection of idlers with low rotation resistance coefficient (well less than 0.020) is an important part of the design and selection of belt conveyors.
Main Features of Conveyor Self-Aligning Roller
When the position of the belt is changed from its center line on the same plane, the self aligning idlers can correct this condition.
There are three types of self aligning idler: blocking idler, friction idler and taper self aligning idler.
There are used both carrier and return section.
Layout 1 set per 10 sets at carrier section.
