Belt Conveyor Drum Pulley With Rubber Lagging For Conveyor System

The tail pulley is located at the tail end of the conveyor and it turns freely. Now a "belt" can be put around the pulleys.

The Drive Pulley turns and moves the belt around (and around, and around). But it is dangerous to have the belt hang down under the conveyor bed. So small rollers are put into the Conveyor Bed to hold up the belt.

These turn freely -- and just idle. They are called "Return Idlers".

conveyor will always consist of at least two pulleys, head pulley and tail pulley, with additional pulleys used depending on the configuration. Standard-duty pulleys are usually adequate for simple applications, but mine-duty and engineered pulleys are also available where heavy-duty pulleys are required.

Different type of conveyor idlers:

1. Flat/Carrier/Carrying Rollers: Used to handle bulk&unit material.
2. Impact Rollers: Installed at the loading point to absorb the shocks and to help protect against belt damage.
3. Return Rollers: Used to sustain and support the belt during its return section and performs a cleaning action
    Return rollers with Spaced Rings (Rubber Disc Rollers)
    Return Rollers with Helical Rubber Rings (Spiral Rollers)
4. Self-aligning/Training Rollers: Used to adjust the belt deviation, preventing hunting and ensuring stable operation of conveyor belt.
    Tapered self-aligning rollers
    Friction self-aligning rollers
