Submarine Hydro Penumatic Fender

Submarines and other vessels which contact fenders below waterline require a unique solution.Hydor-pneumatic fenders are specially adapted to this application.The fender body is partially water-filled,then pressurised with air and ballasted to make it stand vertically, fender draft and performance can be tuned by altering the water :air ratio and inflation pressure.

Hydro-pneumatic rubber fender also made up by rubber and synthetic-tyre-cord, and also has outer rubber,layer-cord and inner rubber.It is also been vulcanized together to withstand tension and pressure and other forces.

Outer rubber: Cover outside of the fender to protect cord layer and inner rubber from other external forces. It has high tensile resistance,tear resistance and wear resistance.
Synthetic-tyre-cord: Maintain the internal air pressure of the fender and strengthen the strength of fender. It can make fenders be more pressure-resistant and small deformation.
Inner rubber: Seals the pressurized air inside the fender to prevent air leakage. It can also keep the inner pressure of the fender.
