This Bogie frame rotator is used to lift and rorate a bogie frame to an appropriate height and position to allow for specific inspections, maintenance by the operator, making it easy to weld, mount and dismount components, or to carry out visual and ultrasounds inspection, etc.

The rotator consisits of two lifting jacks, equipped with a rotating device with a reduction motor on each side. The frame is secured between the jacks with a fixing device that is specially designed to adapted to every type of bogie frame.

Main features:

• The equipment is mainly composed of lifting mechanism, support clamping mechanism, turning mechanism, electrical control system and control panel, etc.
• Lifting mechanism: The lifting mechanism has the automatic lifting and good self-locking function. The lifting height can be adjusted arbitrarily in the range of 400 to 2000 mm from the floor. Any position has a mechanical anti-fall function, and it cannot be raised and lowered when the mechanical anti-fall. ​It can be jogged and linked, and the lifting height has upper and lower limit positions and necessary working limits. The lifting mechanism has a safety alarm function, the safety alarm light flashes when lifting.
• Support clamping mechanism: The support clamping mechanism is designed into a modular structure to adapt to the clamping of different bogie frames.
• Turning mechanism with 360° automatic turning function.
• The machine is equipped with an operation control console, which can separately control the lifting mechanism, turning mechanism, support clamping mechanism and other control systems. There is a reminder function for lifting and turning. It's equipped with an emergency stop button in case of emergency, and an alarm indicator.
