Application scope:
This Automatic Wheelset Press is mainly used for mounting, dismounting and backpressure test of the locomotive wheelset wheel discs, brake discs and gears. It can generate, record, save and print the pressing curve (Pressure vs displacement, pressure vs time) in the required format. It's only required one operator to operate the press.

Machine features:
- Overall gantry frame structure, with high strength, good rigidity and less deformation;
- Special patented elastic centring devices for center hole positioning;
- Double-end cylinder pressing, only need one positioning without reversal of the axle to proceed both side wheels' mounting & dismounting;
- Unique invention patented cylindrical ram for wheel mounting, with high pressing accuracy;
- Movable resistant column with replaceable inserts for wheelset dismounting;
- Electrical support trolley for wheelset loading and unloading. It will exit from the machine during the mounting/dismounting operation.
- Gearbox support is provided to support the gearbox. It will keep supporting the gearbox during the whole mounting/dismounting process.
- With high-pressure oil injection pump for wheelset dismounting;
- Mounting and dismounting the wheelset with a single positioning on the wheel press;
- Automatic recording of mounting curve, radial and axial run-out and back pressure test of each mounted component;
- Siemens S7 PLC and Advantech Industrial computer for operation control.
- High pressure oil injection pump is available for option.
