400t Locomotive Automatic Wheel Press With Double Cylinders With Oil Injection System

Application scope:

This Automatic Wheel Press Machine is mainly used for the mounting (colding pressing and oiling pressing), dismounting and back pressure testing of locomotive wheelset wheel discs and driven gears of the HXD series locomotive wheelsets. It can generate, record, save and print the pressing curve (Pressure vs displacement, pressure vs time). A rotation device is supplied with the machine to perform wheel back-to-back, axial run-out and radial run-out measurements after the mounting process has been completed.

Machine features:

• The Machine is a horizontal hydraulic wheel press and will be installed in a pit. (The model without pit is also available.)
• The Machine is able to mount/dismount both wheels on the same axle without turning the axle and in a sequence first the wheel at one side of the axle then the wheel at the other side.
• Gantry frame structure, with high strength, good rigidity and less deformation.
• Double-end cylinder pressing. Only need one positioning without reversal of the axle to proceed both sides’ wheel mounting/dismounting.
• The Machine is equipped with special patented centring devices at both ends of two ram cylinders for center hole positioning. The centre can insert into the center hole of both ends of the axle for wheelset positioning. During the whole operation process, it can ensure that the axle center line will be completely concentric with the two ram cylinder centerline to make the ram end face fully matched with the axle end face, without damage on axle center hole and preventing axle from upsetting.
• Unique Invention patented cylindrical ram for wheel mounting, with high pressing accuracy. The wheel mounting requires high accuracy and high pressing force. In order to ensure that the parts blocking the wheel are subjected to the force completely symmetrical, we adopts cylindrical ram for mounting wheel, not the side opening baffle.
• The Machine is equipped with an electrical axle lifting jack for wheelset pre-assembly and loading/unloading onto/off from the Machine. It will exit from the Machine during the mounting/dismounting operation.
• The Machine is equipped with a gearbox support to support the gearbox during the whole mounting/dismounting process.
• The Machine can track and control the whole process, detect the pressing condition of the
• wheelset, and analyze and process it through industrial computer. It can export the pressure vs displacement curve and other results onto the screen and printer.
• The Machine is designed with acoustic-light alarm to ensure the safe and reliable operation.
• High pressure oil injection pump is suppled for oil mounting and dismounting.
• Only required one operator to operate the wheel press machine.
