Application scope:
This Double head Wheelset Dismount Press is used for the dismounting and backpressure test work of the wheel discs and axles of the locomotive wheelsets. It can generate, record, save and print the backpressure curves. It's only required one operator to operate the hydraulic wheel press.

Machine features of the Horizontal Wheelset Press:
- The Wheel Dismount Press is a horizontal hydraulic wheel press and will be installed in a pit.
- The Wheel press-fitting Machine is able to dismount both wheels on the same axle without turning the axle and in a sequence first the wheel at one side of the axle then the wheel at the other side.
- Special patented centring devices at both ends of two ram cylinders for center hole positioning.
- Double-end cylinder pressing, only need one positioning without reversal of the axle.
- Movable column with replaceable inserts to block the wheels dismounting. It's the Original patent in China.
- Overall gantry frame structure, with high strength, good rigidity and less deformation.
- Electrical support trolley for wheelset loading and unloading. It will exit from the Machine during the operation.
- A gearbox support is provided to support the gearbox during the whole mounting process.
- Siemens S7 PLC and Advantech Industrial computer for operation control.
- The Wheel Press Machine can track and control the whole process, detect the pressing condition of the wheelset, and analyze and process it through industrial computer. It can export the curve and other results onto the screen and printer.
- The Wheel Assembly press Machine is designed with acoustic-light alarm to ensure the safe and reliable operation.
