Points of Astra OsseoSpeed™ Screw:

Each platform diameter group (3.0), (3.5/4.0), (4.5/5.0) has its own specific screw and the screws are not interchangeable from platform diameter to platform diameter. Final screws are included with the abutments as a kit but also available separately. No differentiating markings or color coding is present on any of the silver colored final screws.

All screws are torqued with a 0.050 hex driver to a platform diameter specific torque value (3.0 15Ncm, 3.5/4.0 20Ncm, 4.5/5.0 25Ncm). Laboratory screws are available and are color coded in accordance with the platform diameter group color identification scheme (3.0 yellow, 3.5/4.0 aqua, 4.5/5.0 lilac). DesignLine™ abutments (TiDesign™, ZirDesign™, CastDesign™, TempDesign™) share the same platform dependent screws.

Angled UniAbutment screws for the UniAbutments themselves are included with each UniAbutment to make a complete kit. Two implant/abutment platform diameter (3.5/4.0, 4.5/5.0) specific screws are produced and separately available for purchase. Screws for UniAbutment UCLA's (20°, 45°, angled) are much smaller than regular abutment screws. Each UCLA is packaged with a hexed (0.050 hex) final screw and a separate slotted final screw is offered separately. The UCLA screws are torqued to 15Ncm only.
