Points of Biohorizons Screw:

1. External hex

Final screws are machined with a 0.050 (1.25mm) hex head and Spiralock® technology. Each screw, regardless of implant platform diameter and abutment material is torqued to 30Ncm. Screws are included with each abutment purchased and available separately. Final screw dimensions are platform and abutment material dependent.

3.7mm platform
All titanium abutments and UCLA's utilize catalog number 130-300 (Fig.1, left). Zirconia abutments require catalog number 130-400. The screws are colored yellow for identification.

4.2mm, 5.2mm and 6.2mm platform
All titanium abutments and UCLA's utilize catalog number 140-300 (Fig.1, right). Zirconia abutments require catalog number 140-400. Screws are silver in color for differentiation.

2. Internal, Tapered internal, Single-stage, Laser-Lok® 3.0

Titanium abutments, zirconia abutments and UCLAs share the same Spiralock® 0.050 (1.25mm) hex head screw (Fig.4, catalog # PXAS) and torque setting of 30Ncm regardless of implant platform diameter. Screws are included with each abutment purchased and available separately.
