Points of Dentsply Ankylos® C/X Healing Cap:

Healing abutments are chosen in regards to the future planned final abutment. Abutment choices are Standard, Regular, Balance anterior and Balance posterior. Due to the universal abutment to implant connection design any non indexed healing abutment will properly fit any implant body diameter regardless of indexed (Ankylos®X) or non indexed (Ankylos®C) design features.

Standard healing abutments for future standard abutments are offered in two emergence profile diameters and are non indexed. The 3.3mm (A) emergence profile healing abutment is offered in four heights (1.5, 3.0, 4.5 and 6mm) and the 4.5mm (B) emergence profile healing abutment is available in two collar heights of 1.5 and 3.0mm. Standard healing abutments are machined as a one piece unibody, combining the healing abutment body and screw in to a singular entity.

Regular healing abutments for future regular abutments are offered in four collar heights of 0.75, 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5mm in one emergence profile diameter. Regular healing abutments are machined as a one piece unibody, combining the healing abutment body and screw in to a singular entity. Although similar in shape to balance posterior healing abutments, the emergence profile of regular healing abutments is machined to conform to regular abutment emergence profiles.
