Points of ITI Straumann Tissue level Impression Coping Transfer:

Narrow neck implant (NN, 3.5mm platform) fixture level impressions can be carried out with a metal, silver colored direct impression coping (Fig.1 left, catalog # 048.016) and screw, screwed to the implant or with a white nylon snap on impression coping (Fig.2 left, catalog # 048.1224), to be captured in the impression material.

Regular neck (RN, 4.8mm platform) fixture level impressions can be conducted with traditional engaging metal, red colored impression coping (Fig.1 middle, catalog # 048.090) and screw, direct impression copings or a two component plastic impression coping to be

captured in the impression material. The two part snap on impression coping consists of a white nylon basket (Fig.4 left, catalog # 048.017) that snaps over the shoulder of the implant and a red plastic positioning cylinder (Fig.2 middle, catalog # 048.070) that slides inside the nylon basket and engages the internal octagon of the implant (Fig.3).

Wide neck implant (WN, 6.5mm platform) fixture level impressions can be executed with traditional engaging, metal direct impression copings (Fig.1 right, catalog # 048.091)

and screw or a two component plastic impression coping to be captured in the impression material. The two part impression coping consists of a white nylon basket (Fig.4 right, catalog # 048.013) that snaps over the shoulder of the implant and a white plastic positioning cylinder (Fig.2 right, catalog # 048.095) that slides inside the nylon basket and engages the internal octagon of the implant.
