Points of Zimmer Tapered Screw-Vent® (TSV), Screw-Vent® Impression Coping Transfer:

Implants are pre packaged with a multi purpose fixture mount (Fig.1), this fixture mount may be utilized as a indirect impression coping. The fixture mount/impression copings are fabricated with a emergence profile 1mm larger than the platform diameter of the implant.

Indirect engaging, fixture level impression copings (Fig.2) for the indirect impression technique are color coded in compliance with the color coding scheme of Screw-Vent® implants. Green signals the 3.5mm platform and purple indicates the 4.5mm platform diameter while yellow corresponds to the 5.7mm platform.

Impression copings consists of a symmetrically machined impression coping body and separate screw. The screw should be flush with the impression coping body once fully seated on to the implant. Each platform group impression coping is machined in several emergence profiles with the exception of 5.7mm platform impression copings. 3.5mm platform impression copings are available with emergence profiles of 3.5 (catalog # HLT3/3), 4.5 (catalog # HLT3/4) and 5.5mm (catalog # HLT3/5) while 4.5mm platform impression copings are produced with emergence profiles of 4.5 (catalog # HLT4/4), 5.5 (catalog # HLT4/5) and 6.5mm (catalog # HLT4/6). The 5.7mm platform impression coping is produced in a single emergence profile of 6mm (catalog # HLT5/6).
