1. Fiber Patch Cord Basic Introduction:
The Uniboot patch cord places both simplex fibers into one jacket while still terminating into a duplex LC or SC connector. Typical fiber optical cables use a zip-cord approach, which means that both fibers are jacketed separately. The typical size of the jacket is 3mm and on a zip cord, this would be 6mm in width. With the creative design of the Uniboot now the entire cable is just 3mm which is a space savings of 50%.
This is single-mode 9/125 fiber optic duplex cable assembly with a Plenum jacket, LC Uniboot jumper cable, Additional options available. including Riser Jacket options.
