Roughing end mill is a kind of end mill can remove large workpiece blank material in a short time before semi finish and fine finish milling, usually applied to aluminum and steel. The advantage is very fast, the problem is the surface is coarse after milling, so roughing end mill can be used only as coarse milling, finish the preparation for further semi-finish and fine finish milling.
