The oxide scale, sand sticking and slag inclusion on the inner and outer surfaces of castings shall be removed. The casting shall be free of cracks, cold shuts, sand holes, sand sticking, shrinkage cavities and other defects affecting the strength and service life.
There shall be no crack, incomplete penetration, incomplete fusion, air hole, arc pit, unfilled, undercut, slag inclusion and spatter on the weld and heat affected zone surface of the weldment; The weld and base metal shall transition smoothly; The shape of fillet weld shall be concave and smooth transition.
The internal and external surfaces of carbon steel or low alloy steel filters shall be subject to anti-corrosion treatment, and the anti-corrosion coating on the metal surface shall be uniform and firm.
The internal and external surfaces of stainless steel filters shall be subject to surface treatment such as pickling and passivation.
The flange sealing surface shall be free of scratches, bumps and other defects.
Before the assembly of the filter, the inner cavity shall be strictly cleaned without residual floating sand or dirt. When assembling internals, screws, nuts and other small parts shall not be loose or fall off.
