What is Aerated Concrete?

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) is a building material with outstanding thermal insulation,high loadbaring capacity at low weight and good workability.
Aerated Concrete is a well-proven material for almost 80 years and this in all climatic zones.Aerated Concrete is a high tech Calcium-Silicate-Hydrate produced out of Cao (contained in quicklime and cement),out of SiO2(contained in sand or PFA=Pulverized Fuel Ash ),anhydrite(gypsum),water and a trace of aluminium power(as aeration agent).
The raw materials are precisely dosed,mixed,poured into large moulds to form a "cake". The cake is pre-cured in climatized pre-curing chambers,cut to blocks or panels,steam cured in autoclaves at a temperature of 190°C(374°F).During the autoclaving process calcium silicate hydrate is formed.Finally the AAC is palletized.

USES and Features:

Autoclave is one of the indispensable equipment in the production line of aerated concrete block. Large container equipment is used for autoclaved curing of construction products such as lime sand brick, fly ash brick, aerated concrete block, new lightweight wall material, concrete pipe pile, etc. After steam raising, the products can obtain high strength.

Application:
The cut concrete blocks must be placed into the concrete curing autoclave for autoclaving in order to ensure the AAC blocks achieve a certain hardness.

Concrete curing autoclaves are used for autoclave curing of concrete blocks, and thus allowing the concrete block to complete hydrothermal synthesis and obtain different mechanical properties. The working pressure of the concrete curing autoclave is 1.3MPa～1.6MPa, and the working temperature of concrete curing autoclave is 191℃～201 ℃.

Autoclaving Time:
The concrete blocks need to go through several stages for complete autoclaving. This includes:

Before Autoclaving: 30min

Vacuum Pumping: 30min

Temperature Rise and Pressure Rise: 90min

Constant Temperature and Constant Pressure: 480min

Temperature Reduction and Pressure Reduction: 90min

After Autoclaving: 30min
