Internal cleaning/maintenance:
It is important for the operator to ensure that the steam vent valve is securely closed and isolated from entering the machine. Local health and safety protocols for working in confined spaces must be followed (e.g. "No Working Alone", etc.).

The manufacturer is not responsible for accidents that may result from valve leakage.
It is the buyer/user's responsibility to ensure that personnel performing cleaning, maintenance and repair work are aware of where the various switches are installed.
