MOPP Release Film is a type of plastic film coated silicone that is commonly used in medical and pharmaceutical packaging. MOPP stands for "Monoaxially Oriented Polypropylene," which means that the film has been stretched in the machine direction.
MOPP Release Film is often used as a release liner for pressure-sensitive adhesive products, acrylic adhesive products and hot-melt adhesive products, such as medical tapes, acrylic foam tapes, bandages, and dressings. The film is coated with a silicone release agent on one side or two sides, which allows the adhesive to be easily peeled off without leaving residue.
