please see the following installation instruction:

1) To wrap a tie strap around an object to be bound

2) Thread the strap through the buckle and tighten.

3) Insert the end of the binding band into the opening of the tool hole.the tool handle in your right hand and repeat the clenching untill the binding band is tightened

4) When the strap is tightened the left hand pulls up the cutter to cut it off. and the strap is cut and move away from the tool, so that a stainless steel band is installed.
