The EVE 280Ah LiFePO4 cell is a popular choice among DIY users for solar energy storage and off-grid backup systems. It is also suitable for caravans, campers, golf carts, forklifts, electric bikes, motorbikes, and more.
Connection: Screw-connected — the prismatic battery cell can be easily mounted and connected with busbars and screws. You can handle it yourself for DIY projects.

- Safest lithium battery: Built-in PCM/PCB, no fire or explosion risk.
- Clean and green energy: No toxic materials contained.
- Long life cycle: 80% capacity remains after 500 deep cycles.
- No memory effect: Highly efficient charging anytime, no capacity reduction.
- Operating temperature: -20℃ ~ 55℃.
- Good performance at high temperature with high temperature resistance.
- Low self-discharge rate: <3% monthly.
- Deep cycle: More than 2000 times life span — longer life than lead-acid batteries.
All batteries are tested before shipment. However, you should also test them upon receipt. You must have basic knowledge of electronics and battery assembly. If you are unfamiliar with these processes, please learn more before assembling. No refund or warranty is provided for unprofessional operation.

Exercise caution when working with all electrical equipment. Wear safety glasses and gloves when appropriate. Sparks and flashes can damage your eyes.
- Ensure cells are within operating temperature range prior to use.
- Do not use if cells are punctured, damaged, or leaking.
- Provide adequate protection to cells during assembly and use thereafter.
- Dispose of properly at a recycling or similar facility.
- Do not submerge in water.
- Do not allow contact with direct heat, extreme temperatures, or fire.
- Prevent harsh impacts or extreme vibrations which can cause immediate or cumulative damage.
Each cell is packed with foams and a UN carton for safe transportation.

- Do not submerge the battery in water.
- Do not insert batteries with the (+) and (-) reversed.
- Do not disassemble, dispose in fire, heat, or short circuit.
- Do not expose batteries to sunlight for long periods.
- Do not keep batteries close to children.
- Do not short circuit the battery in any situation.
- Do not discharge the new battery — please fully charge them first.
- Do not open the battery safety valve.
- Do not violently wrest the screw on the terminal.
- Do not mix different brands of battery in one pack.
- Do not mix different capacity or different condition batteries together.
Please check all battery voltages and internal resistance, and make sure they are balanced before DIY assembly. All batteries will be tested before shipment, but you need to test them upon receipt as well. You must have basic knowledge of electronics and battery assembly. If you know nothing about this, please learn more before assembling. No refund or warranty for any unprofessional operation.
Some cells may have small scratches due to moving or long transportation, but this will not affect usage at all. We hope you don't mind.

Whether you buy Grade A, B, or C cells, or used LiFePO4 cells, and whether they are at the same voltage or not, you still need to do the initial balance. This means bringing them to the same state of charge. Using voltage alone to determine state of charge is unreliable for this chemistry because the charge and discharge curve is relatively flat. Cells can show the same voltage on your meter but be slightly off in state of charge.
It is important to have a solid initial balance so that when you do your first capacity test, you get accurate results. If one of your cells is too high or too low, it triggers your BMS high or low voltage disconnect, and your capacity results will be off. You'll think you're getting ripped off.
Also, if you have balancing problems with a used or new pack and you rely on an active balancer to compensate, you need to do the initial balance and see if that fixes your problem. People see one of their cells spiking and say, "Oh, that seems to be balancing wrong there" — that's not how you solve the problem. You should do the initial balance, then the capacity test, and watch the cells under large loads to check for internal cell resistance. If you do have a bad cell, you should probably swap it out for a new one.
Keep in mind that if you connect the cells in parallel and let them naturally balance over time, they will balance — but it takes weeks or months depending on the size of your battery bank. The very initial voltage difference between them is very small. When they are at a high state of charge, current will pass between them to balance very quickly.
People check the balancing of their cells and say, "Oh, it's only off by 0.51 volt." These are new cells and they come at the same voltage. I suggest you connect them to a BMS — it could be OK. It is technically true that you can let the BMS monitor the balance on its own. But if you have a very large battery bank, or if you have very ancient in-cell internal resistance, if you have large loads, or if you want to balance the capacity, you should do a manual top balance, no matter what.
